Love this place! Friends and I go all the time after a night out as they open until 1 AM. I’ve been here no less than 5 times since moving to the city earlier this year. I always get the tom yum soup, super refreshing as it’s not the type that contains coconut milk. I always get a bowl of the fried chickpeas as well from the condiments area, so delicious! Place is well priced and generously portioned. Price depends on how much you put on your bowl as it is priced by weight, so I’ve paid around $18-$29 at most. If you like chewy noodles, definitely get the potato starch ones!

Food was amazing fresh and hotpot was so tasteful. Only issues I had were the furniture is very old, some tables almost falling apart. And the drink are not actually cold from a fridge with no doors.

What an unexpected treat! My first experience with malatang turned out to be a hit. I approached it cautiously, picking only a few selections for my bowl, yet was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. There are so many other options to try, so definitely be returning.
